I'm a product management, program, and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in consumer and small business technology companies – at both start-ups and large companies -- now applying my start-up and business experience to leading the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Stanford Graduate School of Business to provide current and engaging entrepreneurial learning both in courses and beyond the classroom In all these roles I have built and led creative, effective, teams that have grown businesses and programs, and delivering products and solutions that delight customers.I led product management for the $300+ million Photoshop product line at Adobe Systems, driving growth for both the professional and consumer business. I directed marketing and product management for Intuit’s Quicken business, expanding the product line to better meet customer needs and drive growth. In the start-up sphere, I led a repositioning and rebranding at LinkExchange positioning it for acquisition by Microsoft. I founded the family photo-sharing service Photo Mambo, co-creating its patented solution for privately sharing and automatically displaying pictures. At Stanford GSB I lead a team focused on ensuring that entrepreneurial learning is current and relevant both inside the courses and beyond the classroom. Our team recently launched a new program, in collaboration with the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability to create pathways for more students to learn about the challenges of sustainability and climate change and the skills of entrepreneurship so they can work to help tackle these challenges after graduating.

We operate an array of programs, resources and learning experiences to support Stanford graduate students interested in entrepreneurship. We help craft experiential learning opportunities like the popular Start-up Garage course, and coordinate a summer internship program allowing MBA students to experience working at early-stage start-up companies. We run the Venture Studio -- a co-working space and dynamic program for grad student teams evaluating or working on new ventures. We foster opportunities for GSB students to interact with and learn from a close-knit Stanford entrepreneurship community, and the broader Silicon Valley community. We work closely with GSB faculty to create cases that highlight the challenges facing entrepreneurial companies, and coordinate research on search funds investing in entrepreneurs acquiring existing businesses.http://www.gsb.stanford.edu/stanford-gsb-experience/academic/entrepreneurship -

Ceo And Co FounderPhoto Mambo 2011 - 2016Photo Mambo makes it simple to share pictures with your closest friends and family so they can be enjoyed day after day. Most photo sharing leaves us with pictures stuffed into the digital equivalent of the shoe box, so pictures are rarely seen more than once. While that may be fine for pictures of your best friend's breakfast, some photos are so important that family and friends want to enjoy them again and again. That's where Photo Mambo comes in. It's an on-screen picture frame you send to loved ones already filled with photos. Photo Mambo transforms any iPad, Mac or PC into a digital picture frame that effortlessly updates itself. Shared pictures stay on display to be enjoyed day after day. And new photos are simply added to a loved ones' frame, with no need for tedious saving, downloading, or copying the images.Photo Mambo joined the ranks of startups that did not make it. Like many entrepreneurs, my co-founder and I learned a great deal, but we did not revolutionize how families share and enjoy their best photos. Onward. -
