The Application Hosting team primary responsibilities are Design/Implement/Manage backend infrastructure for SharePoint and other hosted applications. Monitoring for application outages, and responding to outages and customer issues. . We planned, developed and implemented application upgrades and migrations. Daily tasks included troubleshooting and resolving performance problems and issues in both Custom and COT applications. Modifying SharePoint configurations, as needed, to support enhancements and integration with other applications, and applying security patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates, and preform SSL certificates updates. The Configuration and execution of SharePoint and SQL Server backups/recovery processes were part of our activities.
