Innovator and collaborator for the development and implementation of capital strategies which attract equity (grant) and debt investments for CHC’s affordable housing impact loan fund.This includes working with financial institutions, socially motivated investors, and philanthropy to scale CHC’s ability to meet the needs of its borrowers as we finance the development and preservation of affordable housing that is responsive to needs of people and the communities where they live.CHC is a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, is AERIS rated and is listed on Guide Star.

My passion for the importance of quality housing that people can afford inspires me as I network and develop relationships with financial institutions and others who have a shared interest in affordable housing finance. I am highly successful in attracting debt and equity (grants) for CHC's affordable housing impact loan fund from both public and private sources. Through my work in the Achieving Excellence in Community Development Executive Education Program at Harvard's Kennedy School, I have increased my focus on new ways to attract sustainable sources of capital to affordable housing finance that both diversify capital sources and attract adequate amounts of capital to allow this important work to reach scale.In addition to working with traditional investors to bring new capital to CHC, I spend an increasing amount of time in the mission investing and foundation/family fund arena where the benefits of the double bottom line associated with investment in affordable housing finance through national intermediaries such as CHC is not readily understood.I also oversee brand management and guide investor focused corporate communications including web and annual report content.www.CommunityHousingCapital.org

Applied a wealth of past experience in corporate communications and advertising to successfully re-branded the company, manage the development of the Community Housing Capital website www.communityhousingcapital.org and manage the overall external communication and marketing initiatives.

My responsibilities included passing legislation, a comprehensive understanding of the City's Charter and Code, budget, and more. My proudest accomplishments include significantly increasing transparency and accountability in our City's government, housing policy reform, fiscal reform, and collaboration that resulted in the development of affordable artisan housing at the edge of the city's Arts and Entertainment as a stepping stone for economic development and vitality in the downtown area.

Introduced private sector business discipline, Total Quality Management principles, and a self-sufficient business model to a nonprofit start up and led it to become one of the most innovative and successful NeighborWorks organizations of its size in the country.
