As an educational leader for the past 15 years I am passionate about helping educators. Through Grand Canyon University I support students getting their Masters in Instructional Technology and student teachers completing their internships. As a scholar, my dissertation identified hackathons as an effective instructional approach for computational thinking within computer science. Through Hackathon Jr. I am able to bring hackathons to children and extend their knowledge of computer science concepts through a problem solving lens. Finally, as a teacher leader I mentor and support teachers on instruction, standards, interventions, classroom management, digital tools, and other support to help support a collective efficacy amongst staff.Interested in my research?
