Extensive experience in investment strategy, asset allocation, traditional and alternative assets, portfolio management, quantitative modelling, valuation, risk management and derivatives hedging. Have been with SLC Management for over 10 years as Managing Director of Investment Strategy helping direct global asset allocation. Prior to joining Sun Life, worked at John Hancock Financial Services as Senior Managing Director in its Bond and Corporate Finance Group, as co-portfolio manager for $80 Billion of assets. Was a member of the board of directors of John Hancock Variable Life Insurance Company and was co-chair of the investment committee. Also served as a Vice-President and Research Director for John Hancock’s Global Investment Strategy group. Prior to that worked in alternative asset management and real estate with American Finance Group and Harvard Real Estate. Qualified as a Chartered Accountant, holds graduate degrees from Boston College and Harvard University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Also an adjunct faculty member in the graduate finance department at Boston College.
