(For the technically inclined, we built a responsive, headless, single page app (SPA) ecommerce experience supported by a hybrid public / private cloud microservice mesh architecture.)โ–ธ ๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—น๐˜: Developed ecommerce products that led to best top- and bottom-line YOY growth in Orvis's 160-year history.Two themes guided the roadmap I owned at Orvis: activating audiences through brand narrative rather than costly promotion tactics, and leveraging data integrations between online and retail in order to deliver more qualified traffic, deeper engagement, and lower costs. We made a strategic shift from a patchwork of point solutions to integrated services offered by Adobe Marketing Cloud, redeployed our core services, replacing monolithic commerce integrations with microservice APIs to power a next-generation mobile platform as a test of the new framework. โ–ธ ๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—น๐˜: A fivefold increase in mobile capacity and resilience, and a single page app (SPA) web experience that provided a 33% lift in revenue.
