Technology has always been a big part and a key focus of my career so it was easy to swiftly switch gears to a new pathway as a data engineer in the Industrial IoT field. In this new path I have developed a vision to use my knowledge not only to help automate our business but to help build and grow our current employees into the technologist of tomorrow. This vision is built around a strategy that I developed to transform our current business into a smart business that is capable and agile to support the ever growing and changing needs of manufacturing through this industry change and the next.The projects and tasks I undertake give me the opportunity to prove my expert level skills in SCADA programming and thing connectivity by frequently overcoming known hurdles and the status quo. On top of the SCADA projects I lead the architecture design of new manufacturing local area networks that connect our devices to the central infrastructure and also lead planning on updating legacy local area networks to current standards across North America. I am skilled in SCADA system programming and Python programming with a specialization in Ignition by Inductive Automation, Connect Engine by Igear Inc., ActiVplant by Aptean, and developing applications for business automation and vision learning.
