I am currently employed for the Atlanta Group as Trainer specialising in Commercial Insurance. I have almost 2 years experience in an L&D environment, with over 5 years experience in a coaching/mentoring background. My role consists of designing and delivering training material for various insurance brands within the Atlanta Group, across a wide range of retail and commercial products and systems. Primarily, this is for new delegates, however, does also include the upskilling of existing employees.I work across sites and spent a total of six months supporting a recruitment drive overseas. I was stationed in Durban, South Africa and was tasked with design and delivering material to these cohorts.I am trained to work across various insurance platforms such as Acturis, CDL Echelon and CDL Classic, providing training and coaching for insurance products in retail and commercial backgrounds.Once accredited my position consists of supporting these delegates in their day to day position in line with company KPIs.Working within an L&D environment I am also experienced with supporting recruitment functions, including the use of various job boards, to locate and screen potential candidates.

After Swinton was acquired by the Atlanta Group I was promoted to the described position. The role provided coaching and mentoring to existing staff members in both Customer Service and Customer Sales backgrounds. The positions chief responsibility was to support underperforming representatives achieve departmental KPIs.To achieve this, prior research was required to identify trends and patterns contributing to their weakened performance. Detailed coaching sessions would then be arranged and held with these delegates with coaching plans arranged to track their progress.This position required a working knowledge of the GROW model and also SMART coaching actions which I implemented into my daily role.
