After completing a 34-hour training course, I committed to at least 4 hours a week to 50808. Duties include:-Providing a safe space for texters, listening and responding with support.-Guiding the texter through their crisis and emotions to a calmer state of being. -Notifying appropriate staff regarding violations of policies, alleged misconduct or high risk texters as needed. -Being able to conduct the necessary steps to take in an active rescue.
