Hired on to manage the initial national fiber build throughout NY and NJ. Reviewed 100s of applications, narrowed down, interviewed and hired technicians from BuffaloNY to Trenton, NJ. Worked with many internal and external engineering, construction and legal organizations to get the build completed on time. With a team of 20 technicians we then installed, tested, turned up and maintained all of the transport systems on the route. In subsequent years the team worked all the overbuilds, cable cuts, power outages and disaters in this AOR. * Managed the sites and fiber system installs from Buffalo to New York city. These builds varied in size from $500k to $20+Million. I documented issues, suggested repairs and when complete accepted on behalf of field operations.* Scheduled resources to work the very aggresive due dates and reached about all of them.* Responded to 1000's of off hour calls on network issues over the 10 years.* Came in within budget guidelines all ten years both in capital and expense departments.

Installed , tested and maintained both copper and fiber telecom equipment. Also was the lead fiber splicer who worked new, repair and emergency splices on the national and metro fiber networks. I received many awards for my response to emergency situations throughout the country.
