Emea

Responsible for the Management of all hospital consigned product in EMEA. My role includes the following,Supervise, coach and develop a team of 5 Consignment Inventory Analysts and 2 Consignment Contract Controllers. Align and prioritize individual Analysts’ objectives with those of the Department, Divisions and Corporate groups and monitor progress on a monthly / qtrly basis. Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and Corporate policies including SOX. Ensure all consignment inventory transactions are completed in a timely manner (all audits must be reconciled within 30days).Establish and maintain consignment inventory controls for Field Sales Representatives and Customers with executed Hospital Consignment Agreements.Oversee the distribution of weekly and monthly consignment inventory reports to Field Sales Reps ,Customer Services and Logistics,(expiry reports, returns data, contracts metrics)Manage consignment inventory reduction initiatives and measure results.Lead timely reconciliation of consignment inventory returned by Field Sales Reps to the distribution centers. Identify financial impacts of consignment operations and work closely with Finance managers to maintain accurate consignment perpetual inventories and align appropriate financial transactions.Provide monthly Executive Summaries to the senior management team on EMEA consignment and related issues.Build and manage the department budget including OPEX , Headcount and CAPEX .

Ensured that all the product needs for our Neuro business in EMEA were met. Worked with Global planners to ensure that product was available in our DCs to meet the needs of our customers . Created weekly backorder and open order reports that helped drive plant manufacturing plans and therefore reduced leadtimes for our customers . Developed processes and procedures and hired additional resources as the department grew.

•Followed cost reduction/containment policies and procedures for the benefit of the Company and provided status reports on Purchase Orders with Suppliers to the master scheduler.Created the MPS and Planned production activities for 4 major product families from Raw Material right through to Shipping the Finished Goods.Participated in weekly S&OP meetings with senior management and identified and offered solutions for any bottlenecks that may cause a delay in shipping a customer order on time.Communicated with internal customers such as warehouse, manufactuiring, laboratory testing , quality and shipping on a daily basis to ensure that we had 100% adherance to plan. Worked with suppliers and built excellent relationships and ensured that AVLs were updated regulalry and that KPIs were completed for each supplier.

I was promoted to a newly created position as Cycle Counter responsible for the regular auditing of Finished Goods and WIP inventory. Perfroming an ABC classification of various product families and updating SAP to automatically propose and audit plan for each item which tied back to controls set out by our external auditors. All audits were reconsiled , variances investigated and corrective actions put in place. The result of this brought about the removal of yearly PIs and increased inventory accuracy to ~99%.

I was team leader responisble for 11 warehouse operatives reporting to the warehosue supervisor and manager. Day to day activities of receiving , shipping , picking manufacturing kit lists were managed while all times adhering to the strict controls of working in an FDA and IMB regulated envoirnment.
