Design and implement community initiatives that fulfill LULAC’s mission to empower Latinos at the local and national level.Support fundraising efforts by creating tailored program designs, budgets, proposal timelines and metrics/benchmarks for grants; ensure program goals and objectives are met in a timely manner.Develop grassroots marketing strategy to build awareness of our programs; coordinate with the communications dept. to integrate program priorities and updates in LULAC newsletters, mailings, website content relating to programs.Develop facts sheets, outreach and promotional materials for use by LULAC staff, members, and partner organizations related to programs.Coordinate with policy staff to ensure programmatic priorities align with organizational advocacy efforts and mission priorities.Prepare all program related reports submitted to Board, agency and federal officials, corporations, and foundations.For programs requiring subgrants, manage the process including writing the request for proposal, selecting grantees, and managing the program and ensuring timely sub grantee reporting.Collaborate with LULAC National Board, volunteer regional, state, and local LULAC members, foundation, corporate, government, and local community-based partners to build relationships, and maintain a network of individuals and groups to assist in coalition building to support the successful execution of programs across the country. Stay generally up to date on policy and advocacy issues affecting program areas.Lead the stage management/scripts writing for national events including Legislative Conference and Gala, Women's Conference, National Convention and Fall Advocacy Days.

Oversee health programs for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) by leading national efforts for the Latinos Living Healthy (LLH) Initiative.- Coordinate, implement, and oversee the Healthy Communities Program that operates nationwide in 15 cities, which grant organizations with funds to implement locally tailored solutions addressing nationally recognized health disparities.- Manage the Feria de Salud Program that reaches over 20,000 individuals annually through health festivals. Oversee logistics of site use, exhibitor outreach and day of programming.Help maintain health policy platform, create advocacy materials and outreach materials. Represent LULAC on health coalitions and at stakeholder meetings.Collaborate with LULAC's Development Department in grant proposal writing and serve as corporate liaison to ensure and increase appropriate fiscal support for programs.Assist in event planning for annual LULAC National events and manage protocol for ticketed meal events including drafting runs of show, scripts and speaker engagement.
