My specialty comprises Ancient Latin and Greek Philology, Culture, Philosophy, Literature, Languages, Translation, AP Latin (Vergil & Caesar), AP Latin Poetry (Ovid and Catullus), AICE Classical Studies (Cambridge), Roman Historiography, Classical Tragedy. My dissertations (Masters & Doctoral) on Seneca have been recognized for their innovative approaches to Seneca's therapeutic treatment of his contemporaries for the fear of death tantamount to a new syncretism, bridging both Epicurean and Stoic visions of healing and extirpation of unhealthy emotions.I have also taught all French levels through AP French (current and earlier curricula) as well as the Cambridge AICE curriculum AS level.Currently, Sponsor/Founder of the GSA Club (since 2006 - Present); Sponsor/Founder of Latin Club/Latin Honor Society (2002 - Present)/Assistant Sponsor of Political Awareness Club since 2015. Built up the French Program at our school and founded our Latin Program and more recently our AICE Classical Studies AS (now with 168 students) started by me in 2015. Next year AICE Classical Studies A Level begins! Union Steward since 2011 at our school working with our fellow teachers to have a fair and just working environment.Have mentored numerous teachers over the years in World Languages. Am currently mentoring new Classical Studies teachers in other schools of Broward County, Florida.
