• Full responsibility of the hotel when on shift.• To ensure appropriate levels of customer care are delivered at all times.• To ensure a consistent standard of food quality and presentation in all areas.• To ensure SOP's are adhered to and service standards are consistent.• To ensure there is effective and appropriate supervision in areas of responsibility at all times.• Implement training as required as per the SOP's.• Rostering & Holiday planning for the full F&B department.• Carry out opening and closing procedures of a shift.• Maintain management presence throughout the hotel.

Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for the Front of House Team; including Front Desk, Reservations, Guest Relations, Switchboard, Front of House & Night Porters.Revenue Management, full control of all 3rd party booking engines aswell as home website. Updating rates accordingly & close outs. To roster staff in accordance to business demand.To put forward timesheets for payrollTo ensure Standards, Customer Care & Guest Satisfaction is maintained at all times.Organization of large group arrivals and final billing.Budgeting and costing for the front desk.Team meetings.Recruitment. Appraisals, disciplinary procedures & exit interviews.Standard operating proceduresAssisting Accounts with calling debtors and following up with payments and assisting closing accounts.Duty Management shifts are also part of the role, with responsibility for each department.Software used; Hotsoft
