I am currently a Fourth-year Chemical Engineering student with a commitment to advancing my career in the minerals processing, oil & gas, water treatment or coal mining industry. Previously contributed as a Vacation Process Engineer with Yancoal at the Moolarben CHPP.In this role i have been exposed to many different processes and process procedures; these being water treatment of effluent water and clarified water. Processing of coarse, fine and ultra fine coal (which made me familiar with centrifuges, Dense medium cyclones, froth flotation and desliming/product screens). Another important part of the coal handling process is the process control that governs all of the plant's operations, at Moolarben I had hands on experience with this software which allowed me to further understand the process of the plant and how it functions.I enjoy studying particle engineering, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer.
