2006Promoted to EMEA role responsible for all package cooling products, including manufacturing facilities in the UK and Spain. Total P&L responsibility for circa $100 million. Developed and implemented business plan to penetrate the Middle East market. Initiated globalisation and rationalisation of products and company resources. Reported to regional president.

2003 - 2005Responsible for UK business circa $50m with 220 people. Supplying products and services to the Power, Pharma, Petrochemical, Industrial and Commercial markets. Grew profit fivefold in first year, revamped management team completely re-organised company into defined departments. Implemented SAP, Lotus notes and Cognos to aid communication and visibility for the business. Focused company on profitable service business. Secured ISO9001 implemented H&S training to all staff. Unity International GroupUIG is an international contractor dedicated to providing integrated, comprehensive structured cabling, electrical, mechanical and information technology consulting services to clients globally. Headquartered in New York.

Responsible for sales and marketing team with revenue of $60 million in electrical, mechanical and IT contracting. Selling into blue chip clients mainly in the banking and IT sectors. Pursued and won contracts upto $15m negotiated at board level. Personally managed strategic key accounts to ensure maximum return. Established strong network of contacts from all professions involved with the building services industry.

Start-up Company in a new market for the business. Recruited team of results minded people to manage business including site and administration staff. Grew company to $3m in 12 months with staff of 35. Set in place infrastructure and contracts to treble business in second year. Ensured company operated at good margins and payback period for start up was only 6 months. Managed client profile that included Financial, IT, Consultants and contracting sectors. Established group of best of breed partners with services that complimented our core businesses. Introduced IT Consulting and Managed services into the market with significant success.

Established HVAC industrial products group to manage global sales. Managed a team of technical, sales, customer service and administration people. Succeeded in selling a technical product through being specified at a high gross margin. Quadrupled sales to $16 million in 2 years. Managed product development program. Set up planned maintenance/service division.

Grew export sales from $2m to $14m in the first year. Secured the companies largest order of $6m in Hong Kong. Managed and strengthened export sales department and implemented ISO9001. Managed key accounts and existing agents, set up new agents in Japan, Thailand and New Zealand.
