To say I am obsessed with music and sound would be putting it lightly. Having been in musical education since I was 12 years old, I feel that the passion I had for music as a child has now transformed into a lifestyle as well as an excellent academic career. Now, I'm looking to turn it into a professional career too.My early musical education focused mainly around popular music guitar studies, and academically delivered classical music studies. My time at university introduced me to studio recording and production, and my outlook on music and even sound itself changed. I graduated from The University of Salford with a 2:1 in Music: Popular Music and Recording, and after taking a year out to enjoy some time with my family and experience full time employment, I enrolled back at The University of Salford to study an MSc in Audio Production. I also began volunteering with Brendan Williams at lowfour.tv, gaining real-life experience from a professional engineer in a professional studio environment. I'm a critical listener, all the time. I drive my partner insane with my observatory comments on music production or film sound (and even compositional aspects of the two). But why should I "switch off" when this is the thing I'm most passionate about? I'm constantly seeking to improve, reinvent and upgrade myself, tirelessly researching, listening and trying new techniques to further hone my skill set. My dedication to the craft is second to none. In the future, I would like to expand my home studio in order to help me take on more roles from prospective clients. I can see myself expanding my services into TV, Film and Game sound settings, areas of which I have always been interested in. I'm always looking for new projects to work on, and new artists to work with.
