My role at Energy developments has changed over the passed 3 years, from An overhaul technician being part of a 4 man teams dealing with engine overhauls, Combustion chamber cleans, 20/40/60K overhauls, to a Operations technician being part of a team where my role is to maintain and monitor an Landfill gas (LFG) power generation site, my duties are as follows, Maintaing the generators, gas plant, site compressors, monitoring site output and site suction to ensure engines are running efficiently that the site is not breaching any environmental compliances.

I completed an advanced level apprenticeship with Cummins Diesel, my role was workshop based where I carried out all requirements of a task such as all documentation (Risk assessment, Method statements, time sheets, etc), I carried out jobs as a team and also on my own, these ranged from single component replacement to full engine rebuilds, as well as replacing engine in a range of buses.
