Design Engineer Ii
CurrentDesign Engineer for custom decorative lighting fixtures. I take rough draft specifications from the customer for full custom light fixtures and turn the concept into a buildable design to be made in house at Hammerton. Through Solidworks I modeled hundreds of custom designs, implementing sheet metal and weldments, and for each design created a drawing containing all details needed by every department and Hammerton to create the fixture. Through experience and communication with fabrication, paint, electrical, and finish department I was able to improve designs to decrease time and errors throughout all processes.
