I've been passionate about game development and design since I was a kid, and can't even remember when I first started teaching myself to make games. I've been using Unity as a hobby since around 2014 and have grown extremely comfortable with the engine, with uni strengthening my knowledge further and bringing me experience in a team development environment (using Git, Trello, Mira, Confluence, etc.). I also have experience with Unreal Engine (4 & 5), Game Maker, and Godot, and I'm keen to learn more. I've used both Unity and Unreal for procedural generation and networked multiplayer - Unity in particular I've completed a project that led me into some pretty low-level networking backend. I've also used Unreal Engine 5 in a real-time 3D animation context. I also have some level of experience in Blender and more.Outside of game development, I'm also a hobbyist musician and have been working in DAWs such as Ableton Live and FL Studio since 2017. I started out making electronic music, which gave me a solid understanding of both sound design and mixing. I now play guitar, which has led me to start dipping my toes into recording techniques.
