5 year’s experience as an IT Quality Tester using both manual and automation testing procedures. Initially hired as Manual Tester, I took a keen interest in understanding the test automation processes in place in the company. Here I demonstrated my adaptlearning capability by quickly upskilling in test automation practices to the extent that I wasable to take on test automation responsibilities. As a result, I am now proficient inimplementing code changes using Java as well as using tools such as Selenium andCucumber to write Automation test cases that verify the functional and non-functionalrequirements of a feature using IntelliJ.Responsibilities in my role as an IT Quality Tester include developing newautomation scripts, scheduling daily Automation Tests on multiple developmentenvironments, recording test results through Jenkins, implementing fixes to address failuresand executing monthly regression tests.I frequently used Postman to test APIs for developers and other testers and reported any failures to the assigned developer.As a strong collaborator I thrive in a team environment. However since March 2020 I havealso demonstrated my ability to work on my own while working remotely from my home andliaise with a team of developers and other manual and automation testers using MicrosoftTeams to make sure new features developed are tested properly in line with my companiesstandards and procedures.During college I worked as part of a team on a project called Flock. This project involved creating a messaging app that allowed family members to communicate with each other and organise family tasks. My main role was developing the user interface as well as managingthe team using a web application called Trello to ensure that we met our goals on a weeklybasis. The project was a success and for a time was available for public use on the Android Play Store. Once the application went live, I used Analytics on an application called Firebase. I monitored the activity rates of each element of the app telling me what features are most effective and noted user feedback. I then edited the user interface and app to create a more user-friendly experience thus improving the analytics and rating of the app.
