Pricing Manager
CurrentI initially started with Red Hawk Group in August 2020 when the company first formed. We set out to disrupt the energy market and most importantly to bring some trust back into an industry that is known for rogue brokers.I started out as an Energy Consultant for the business where my roles included assisting clients with;Procurement - I would source out different contract types such as fixed pricing, flexible pricing and pass through products. All of which have different pros and cons so it was my job to identify the best product for my clients and to discuss in depth which was the best solution for them.Energy Management - We work on a lot of different projects in order to help our clients with their energy efficiency, some projects could simply just be identifying where clients are needlessly consuming energy and some projects are working alongside clients to help them reduce their CSR and contribute towards a Greener Britain!Legislation - The world of energy is forever changing, it was my job to keep clients in the know when new legislation's where coming into effect. A lot of legislation changes can have a financial impact on companies so it is vital that we keep our clients and prospects in the know and help them prepare for said changes.My role then changed at the beginning of February 2021 when I moved up to Pricing Manager for the company, my day to day responsibilities still include a lot of what I was brought in to do as an Energy Consultant but I am now responsible to oversee all tenders for the company and to liaise directly with account managers. As a pricing manager my roles now include;- Direct communication with our account managers- Handling of I & C Tenders- Building detailed cost projections that give clients full visibility on their spends and future spends.- Requesting and submitting contractual paperwork to clients and suppliers.- Working and producing invoices.
