I am extremely passionate about proactive communication and staying on top of the latest trends in this ever-changing field. I've worked on both sides of the communication game - starting as a journalist for broadcast radio and television stations, and transitioning to public affairs for the government. I now also do voice-over work as my side hustle and have a home studio for remote recording. I am currently working as the communications manager for Yuba Water Agency, a truly innovative and proactive water agency behind some really inspirational transformation in Yuba County. It’s wonderful to work for an agency where 99% of my communications is positive news about how we’re “powering a brighter future for Yuba County.”I love a good challenge. I am a life-long learner - I completed my Master's degree in 2015: an MS in Management (Public Relations concentration), and since then have rediscovered the joy of reading for pleasure!
