The agency is blessed with California's most precious resource - water, and uses its hydropower revenue to make Yuba County a better place to live, work and play. As someone who was born and raised in this area, I couldn't resist the opportunity to be part of efforts to rebuild this community.

I worked hard to share all the wonders of Placer County - my home - with the world, and to keep our most important audience, our employees, very well informed of all that's going on. It's such a wonderful place to raise a family, so much to do, everything is a short drive, including Lake Tahoe. I led the transformation into a modern communications office, and had a lot of fun doing it with a really awesome team. We rebranded the organization, became much more proactive with a strong emphasis on transparency, and we began using video, infographics, amazing photography and even podcasting to help tell our story.
