Manages the New Trier Extension adult/community education program by developing and supporting educational and recreational courses that serve the residents of New Trier Township.Recruits, interviews, hires, supervises, and evaluates New Trier Extension teachers.Regularly reviews and analyzes course selections and teachers and recommends changes to the curriculum based on interest, enrollment, and other factors.Establishes, maintains, and publicizes an online course registration and management system. Recommends tuition amounts and tuition-free eligibility requirements, supervises tuition collection, and ensures deposit with the District’s business office; oversees and maintains integration of online payment systems Prepares and supervises Extension mailings and course catalogs sent to Township residents. Works with New Trier administration and operations managers to schedule and set up rooms for Extension courses during appropriate times.Maintains an Extension program budget in conjunction with the District’s reporting system financial records, faculty lists, and enrollment records .Establishes and maintains agreements with New Trier Township-based agencies in providing services for the New Trier Extension program.Participates in professional organizations related to adult and continuing education programs.

Responsible for recreation programs, day camps, special events, youth enrichment programs, birthday parties, facility rentals, publicity, and press releases for the District.

Supervision of boating and sailing beach, including public boat launch. Director of Junior Sailing Program. Safety trainer for Boating and Sailing programs. Responsible for annual budget, hiring and supervising of staff, safety initiatives, facility maintenance, daily operations.
