As the Director of the Allergy Program, I performed Multi-Panel and Intradermal Allergy testing, provided patient education regarding the understanding of allergies, allergy avoidance and control. I managed and administered patient Allergy Treatments, including Sublinqual Immunotherapy (Allergy Drops) and Subcutaneous Immunotherapy (Allergy Shots).

Upon graduating from the University of Florida RN, BSN program, I began my nursing career at All Children’s Hospital. I was quick to advance the Nursing Clinical Ladder, and my knowledge and performance expedited my abilities to perform in management positions. I was considered an exceptional Nurse, Charge Nurse, Manager and Educator/Preceptor by my Peers, Directors and Physicians.I obtained valuable experience in the Pediatric and Adult Bone Marrow & Kidney Transplant Unit, Pediatric Seizure Monitoring Unit, Allergy, Immunology & Rheumatology Clinic, Same Day Surgery and General Pediatrics Clinic. My skills in these departments consisted of Chemotherapy Administration, Blood Transfusions, IV insertion and medication administration, Dialysis, Broviac Care, Mediport Access and De-access, Immunization Injections, Asthma Acute Therapy, Multi-Panel and Intradermal testing and Pre & Post Operative assessments and educational discharges. As the Nursing Supervisor of the General Pediatrics Clinic. I completed the Interactive Management Certification Program and began to utilize my Professional and Clinical Skills to interview, train and manage a staff of Registered Nurses, Licensed Professional Nurses and Medical Assistants. I created and educated Staff on Policies, Procedures and Skill Competencies. I also assisted the Attending Physicians and Residents to benefit Daily Operations.
