A scientist and educator with a diverse set of experiences spanning 21 years in R&D, corporate training in pharmocogenomics and a background in education spanning curriculum development, state level assessment revision and classroom instruction, Ms. Thornton has a wealth of experience to teach any individual or organization the basics of wellness planning for healthy living in addition to image enhancement consulting. In addition to being a lifelong learner, she’s an entrepreneur who’s held careers in the health and beauty arena as an independent enhancement artist, model, certified Sports Nutrition Consultant and Trainer and Figure Competitor, earning her Pro card in her second competition! A committed community activist and advocate for children’s empowerment through education and service-learningDedra is also currently director of Woodland Middle School’s Peace Jam, Inc. chapter, which she helped to found in 2008.
