Worked for the NHS since 1987 as an Auxiliary Nurse in a care of the elderly hospital ,then PMH where I gained sponsorship for Nurse Training in 2000, Diploma Nurse UWE 2003, worked in Elective orthopaedics , ICU followed by 1st sisters post in SAU, 2nd sisters post in Trauma and Orthopaedics, before becoming Trauma Co ordinator which lead to topping up my Diploma to a degree with orthopaedic modules. Most recent worked in the community as a Rapid Response nurse undertaking PACR module back at UWE ,throughout my career I have always had a passion for older persons care and Dementia and also cared for my father for 7 years who had mixed Dementia . Other study included Scope course and Dementia Champion .Now commencing on a new venture as Admiral Nurse for Dementia uk.
