Nurse Advisor

Current

On leaving the acute healthcare sector I still wanted to keep my skills up so applied for a Nurse advisor with the Emergency Out of Hours care service. Concurrently with my current role I work as a nurse advisor. At the weekend I triage patients requiring Out of Hours healthcare. Recently I opted for a Nurse Phone advisor rather than face to face, depending on the outcome of the triage, if required I will either make an appointment with a GP, I can advise on which emergency service is needed, alternatively if symptoms can be managed at home I will give self-care advice.
