Unit Manager - Lockbox/Payment Systems/ACH/Commercial Vault

Responsibilities include managing the day to day lockbox operations across all regions. Provide direct supervision and leadership to 3 regional managers as well as their supervisors with a combined staff of 60+ employees; ensures departments are in compliance with regulatory practices and procedures related to lockbox operations; prepares monthly budgets for each lockbox region; works with treasury management sales officers and product managers to offer new and innovative products and services to lockbox customers.

Responsible for managing and facilitating multiple departments within bank operations. Responsibilities included coordinating with managers in order to maintain workflow across various departments; reviewing and recommending new methods and procedures to make daily operations more efficient; staying informed of new developments that will affect operations, and recommending changes as necessary; maintaining good customer relations; acting in a public relations capacity when dealing with other departments, corporate customers, and other banks; preparing budget expenditures as necessary to support operational services; and ensuring compliance with bank policy and federal and state laws and regulations applicable to this area.

Provided direct supervision to 30+ employees on a daily basis. Ensured department polices and procedures were followed and in compliance with regulatory practices and procedures; coordinated staff cross training; helped to streamline processes, making department more efficient; prepared monthly budgets.

Supervised the daily workflow of the Operations department. Responsibilities included assuring the accurate and timely handling of our Customer’s receivables in order to maximize their cash-flow and minimize fraud; supervising the department to ensure area is adequately staffed on a day-to-day basis and that all personnel are properly trained; and allocating, directing, and monitoring daily workflow in and out of the area to ensure work procedural steps are followed and operating deadlines are met.
