Since retiring as a Colonel in the US Army, I have had the privilege to serve domestic and foreign clients. Notable achievements include the formation of the Asia-Pacific Counter-IED Fusion Center, the comprehensive bottoms-up review of the Emirati Land Forces, the establishment of the Foreign Industry Defense Solutions Vertical for Microsoft, and the development of secure supply chain channels for DHL and EXEL Global Logistics. Other achievements include IT solutions, UAV solutions and expeditionary logistics.

Hawaii

Led a global supply chain organization consisting of over 11,500 employees in Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa, Philippines, Alaska, Iraq and Afghanistan. Trained and deployed over 6,000 personnel in support of the deployment cycle. Achieved over $11M in cost avoidance and savings. Directed and mentored a staff of 11 senior leaders across all functional areas to include Human Resources, Intelligence, Operations, Plans, Logistics, Information Management, Public Affairs. Designed, developed and executed an external digital staff integration evaluation achieving Full Operational Capable status for a Theater Command.

Virginia

Led a staff of 31 senior level analysts and program managers responsible for the global supply chain management of the strategic $6B Army War Reserve Stocks and Army Prepositioned Stocks programs. Routinely briefed Congress and senior DoD officials on supply chain, procurement, and maintenance of strategic pre-positioned stocks. Created $20M in cost savings by reducing redundant or obsolete inventories. Launched APS Afloat in support of the surge for Iraq and Afghanistan. Deployed Forced Provider assets to theater as well as selected weapons systems for critical requirements.

Graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. One of four US Army Officers to receive the Supply Chain Management Certificate in addition to a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy.

Virginia

Led the Army’s Integrated Product Team to develop Tactics, Techniques and Procedures to counter enemy Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attacks on US and allied convoys in Iraq. Authored the Joint Convoy Commanders Handbook. Developed and fielded numerous advanced technologies to detect and defeat ambushes and IED attacks. Developed force structure for convoy security formations. Supervised a diverse team of 16 highly skilled experts. Recommended the formation of a joint IED defeat organization. Ultimately, JIEDDO evolved from this initial recommendation.

Iraq

Led a 1,400 personnel organization consisting of over 600 linehaul vehicles, and 30 pieces of material handling equipment. Led joint cargo transshipment operations in Central Iraq resulting in safely operating 6.6 million actual miles, 1,764 convoys and delivering over 4.8 million tons to customers throughout Iraq. Defeated 108 enemy ambushes and IED attacks which equates to one attack for every 16 convoys. Developed successful ad-hoc armoring and convoy protection solutions.

Virginia

Responsible for all readiness plans and operations for all 19 strategic seaports in the continental United States, to include terminal operations, port security operations, critical infrastructure security as well as critical over-the-road convoy security.
