About Dee Flaharty

I have twenty-four years experience working in payroll and human resources in various industries. While my primary experience has been in energy with a strong focus on labor relations, I have also worked in hospitality and most recently transit. In each position, I strive to become a subject matter expert in the software being used, and with the help of the IT department, develop time and money saving tools. Some of the ERP systems I’ve worked with include SAP, Sage/Timberline, PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion. Some functions that I’ve helped automate include union benefit processing (reconciliation, submission and payment), timekeeping validation and tax reconciliation. All processes have led to reduced overhead costs and hours, and were all achievable by drawing on best practices, knowledge of the software and utilizing Business Intelligence.
