I have worked with BIP for over 20 years, during which time my drive and ambition to help the company be successful, sustainable and progressive has taken me through various positions to the role I hold now. After seeing first hand the positive impact our work has I am passionate about the provision of accessible and relevant business support remaining available for many years to come and through the work of the experienced, motivated and dedicated team I lead at BIP I am confident we will achieve just that.I also support my husband in running a small, family business in rural Devon and so have a clear understanding of the challenges our rural businesses often face.Throughout my years at BIP I have worked closely with a variety of funding bodies including ERDF, ESF, Natural England, Local and County Councils and am well versed in liaising with funders, partners and stakeholders to ensure project delivery, management and reporting run smoothly. The experience I've gained initially led me into Contract Management where I developed my ability to ensure multiple projects remain efficient and compliant in their delivery and on track to achieve set targets and deadlines.Having spent many years in administration roles of varying responsibility I understand the importance of efficient and effective admin in any type of business, having gained extensive experience in ensuring a high standard of monitoring and evaluation is met through the design and implementation of robust and tested systems. Prior to BIP my roles were more customer focused, with my first employments and further education centered around retail. This period embedded the importance of excellent customer service in all that I have done since.
