Dee Hammond serves as Executive Director of the Physician Relations Department at WellStar Health System. The program was formed in 2008 under Dee's direction and consists of a thirteen member Physician Relations team. Dee has an extensive background in healthcare which encompasses physician recruitment, physician retention, practice acquisition and business development. Dee understands the importance of building relationships with Physicians, Administrators and industry peers in order to stimulate business growth. She has been actively involved in many professional and community organizations. Dee was recently named to the Board of Directors of the American Association of Physician Liaisons. Graduate of Leadership Cobb and Leadership Georgia.Specialties: Physician Relations, Physician Recruitment and Retention, Business Development and Practice Acquistions.
