Specialising in bereavement and loss, I am an integrative therapist with 10 years of experience working in NHS primary care, the voluntary sector and in private practice. Working integratively means that I draw on a variety of different counselling approaches and schools of thought to offer you individual psychological support. I started my career working as a residential social worker, providing care for adults with special needs.Having a passion for helping people led me to a career in counselling. My desire is to help you gain insights into your issues and aid you to move forward in your life.I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their ethical framework for good practice. I am on the BACP register of counsellors approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.I can provide counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples on either a long term or short term basis. I believe in working collaboratively with you, supporting you to decide what you feel you need, tailoring an individual therapeutic experience, unique for you.
