An experienced CrossFit Trainer and Personal Trainer, I train people to realise their potential, regardless of age and current ability. I am a functional trainer, credited with helping many to achieve their fitness and health goals. A New Zealand Hockey Representative, I am a disciplined coach with experience at elite levels and coaching emerging sports people of all ages.I am based in Hibiscus Sports Complex in Upper Mt Gravatt. I offer personal training services and own CrossFit Magnetic. Our CrossFit Box is very personalised and we care for our athletes. I am very understanding and offer a holistic coaching style to support all athletes of varying abilities.

I loved this role. My responsibilities included supporting clients in the Hibiscus Sports Complex gym by writing exercise programs, providing instruction and demonstrations for the correct technique for the exercises and following them up with their progress.I also taught group fitness classes including aqua aerobics, freestyle aerobics for the older population as well as Circuit and Les Mills Pump and Combat classes. I also worked with an exercise physiologist to improve my skillset and knowledge of human movement and technique correction.

I had the most fantastic opportunity in this role to be part of a global team delivering sales excellence to the emerging Shell Lubricants distributor network in Australia. As the Key Account Manager, my focus was growing national market share in the Independent Workshops market and the Motorcycle lubricants market. This was recognised with a nomination for the Shell Sales Top Gun award.I worked with Shell marketing to develop a highly effective customer value proposition (CVP) for the distributor to use in the market. This CVP was adapted across many domestic and global markets. I trained distributor sales representatives to deliver the CVP by conducting training sessions and going on face to face calls, including cold calling. I received excellent feedback from distributors and their sales representatives about the effectiveness of the CVP and supporting marketing materials enabling them to win new customers at a high margin.I worked with amazing Sales Managers who supported me in every way to excel. I have taken not only excellent memories and friends but also many skills that have helped (and will continue to help) me to achieving my goal of owning my own business and providing service excellence for a different industry in health and fitness.
