As the Process Optimisation Lead, I am responsible for leading and delivering process optimisation and efficiency across Barwon Water's operational infrastructure in order to meet key Strategy 2030 outcomes.

Coordination of all interface activites between capital works onsite and operational activities. The role involves coordination of capital works with a large number of stakeholders. The focus of the role is to minimise impact of capital works on compliance and customers through pre-emption of issues and opportunities, early communication, dissipation of knowledge and a shared understanding of expectations.

Western Treatment Plant, Melbourne

Responsible for ensuring that obligations for compliance and customer contracts were successfully met. Key work areas were Recycled Water- overseeing the production and provision of Class A and C recycled water, as well as the heavily integrated area of sewage treatment. The role included involvement in projects within a large number of interfacing areas including sewage quality & trade waste; integrated risk management, asset planning, asset maintenance, legal and contracts management, pricing & finance, budgetary planning, safety, and applied research and investigation.

Asset Coordinator/Process Operations Engineer- a diverse role focussed on two treatment plants, with responsibility spanning from operations management to asset coordination and planning. During Dee's time at South East Water, she was seconded to the South East Recycled Water Alliance, and rotated through a number of roles including process engineer within the design team, project engineer responsible for scheduling of design, procurement, and construction activities as well as project manager for delivery of a stormwater reycling plant.
