30 Years in veterinary medicine and animal welfare have led me down an amazing path of helping animals.I dedicate my talents to helping people be better so animals can do better.My can-do attitude has allowed me to adventure to Guam to mentor future DVM’s for a humane high volume spay and neuter program, attend the Festival of the Horse in Vieques Puerto Rico to assist the Veterinary medical team in providing care to a feral equine population, while educating (without judgement) the local people on basic horse care.I became certified in the use of an immunocontraception agent to assist with research in reducing urban deer populations without the use of lethal methods. Also utilizing my certification in chemical immobilization for the administration of the agent.Most recently becoming the Director of Animal Care has allowed me to ensure quality standards for a huge number and variety of animals living at the sanctuary, while continuing to assist with helping animals in need.
