Her genetic form of epilepsy has resulted in developmental delays, poor motor functioning, and frequent seizures.Responsibilities as her in-home support include behavioral modification with positive reinforcement and redirection, implementation of plan consistent with her IEP including social, developmental, and physically appropriate activities, while implementing distress tolerance skills and therapeutic play.

Additional work included writing operations grant applications, liaising between The Culture Project’s headquarters and the remote finance team in Texas, and collaborating with both the Director of Development and the Director of Marketing to communicate with donors and constituents worldwide.

I was then hired as a full-time communications assistant for the Institute, working within the marketing department. My position focused on running the Institute's social media pages, email campaigns, and constituent management, while also continuing to assist in logistics for the Institute's various immersion courses.
