CurrentDevelop and maintain marketing platforms and strategies to meet organizational objectives and enhance the Golden West brand. Manage the marketing and communications personnel to build productivity, increase effectiveness and advance overall achievement for this customer-centered membership cooperative. Implement new storytelling initiative to build our brand and develop customer relationships. Create and track $1 million annual marketing budget while also monitoring Key Performance Indicators and Returns on Investment. Adhere to all communication requirements and restrictions in the highly regulated and technical telecommunications industry. Strategize with director-level and C-suite executive communications for both employees and customers including letters, speech writing, PowerPoint presentations, and talking points. Work with our B2B arm, Golden West Technologies, to market and communicate cybersecurity solutions to area businesses. Primarily generate top of funnel sales leads and build relationships with those contacts through online content and sales.In addition to rebranding, one of my biggest accomplishments has been the launch of a storytelling initiative. Our engaging, relatable stories shows how broadband, cable TV, and phone service from Golden West enables subscribers to attend school remotely, take advantage of telehealth options, and work where they want to live instead of having to live where they want to work. The initiative also tells stories of improving lives with technology. In these stories, the customer is the hero, and the stories show (not tell) them how to easily solve their own problems. Even more importantly, the stories illustrate by example (and sometimes with statistics) WHY they should want to solve these problems. The initiative grew from launch in March 2020 to over one-third of Golden West subscribers (and growing) voluntarily and routinely browsing the content each month as of July 2022 – just two years later.
