Supporting the work of the Hampshire Youth Team led by the County Youth Commissioner, to ensure young people are directly involved in the functions of Hampshire scouting at all levels. Involves supporting our elected youth representatives, running a biannual youth council and sitting on trustee board and county leadership team meetings.

Sitting on the County Board of Trustees, reviewing decisions made across the county and working to make sure that the interests of young people are the key factor in decisions made

Working to create and run a variety of events and programs to improve the Explorer Scout section in Hampshire including:• Organising a presence at various Pride events• Working to run a county camp for explorers

Having responsibilities of looking after guests wellbeing and safety as well as handling money and customer service

Continuing within the Hampshire Youth Parliament after the end of my elected term as Deputy MYP, including meeting with decision makers, mentoring new members and presenting on behalf of the Hampshire Youth Parliament.

Elected for 2 years to represent the views of young people at a county level having regular conversations with decision makers within Hampshire County Council along with deputising to attend the annual UK Youth Parliament conference in summer 2023. Focusing on campaigns around mental health and the environment; and a key figure in restructuring the Hampshire Youth Parliament before the end of my term.
