Consistently appearing in The Sunday Times’ Best Companies to Work For lists and achieving Best Companies statusKey Duties:• Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on legal and procedural matters to proactively create positive employee relations• Manage end to end recruitment process to ensure the right people are recruited to the right roles• Support managers through formal procedures e.g. disciplinary, grievance to ensure fair and proportionate outcomes• Ensure compliance with legislation e.g. Equalities Act, GDPR• Manage DBS Umbrella service which generates income offered to other organisations (act as Lead Signatory)• Manage outsourced payroll service• Identify and develop wellbeing initiatives• Manage performance management scheme (performance related pay since 2000)• Continually research and develop Reward and Benefits package to ensure it remains effective in terms of cost and of value to staff• Ensure staff’s employment journey adds value to the employment relationship including the recruitment experience, induction, development and succession planning• Manage corporate training and development to meet business needs• Identify opportunities to embed a coaching culture
