My role as Director of Catering was to set up all the standards and procedures for a new hotel in downtown Detroit. I focused on getting business from Corporate to all social events booked before the hotel opened in December 2008. After the hotel was opened, I assisted the Director of Sales in achieving our numbers for our 2009 and 2010 budget and succeeded. I was responsible for Corporate and Social events and also assisted in booking group rooms. I was also responsible for detailing events as a CSM until the business grew to support another position.

Assited the DOS in forecasting and budgets. Over saw the day to day operations in Banquets as well as managed a catering department. I was also involved in booking social, fundraisers and Corporate events.

My role as Director of Catering was to increase revenue's over years past. I have successfully increased the wedding market, memorial luncheons and catering revenues in which has successfully made and exceeded Corporate Budget's. I also assist in monthly forecasting, overseeing Daily Banquet Operations and assisting the Director of Sales.

Assisted the Director of Sales in everyday operations in running the Sales and Catering team. Achieved our yearly budget, increased our wedding market, Corporate Social Events, Fundraisers and Memorial Luncheons. I also assisted in booking group events along with booking group rooms. Our team was Voted Sales and Catering Team of the Year for North America for 2006; I Work closely with the Sales and Catering team in planning and executing all Corporate, Family Reunions, and Church Events. Executed Flawless events from start to finish. Achieved outstanding goals in up-selling all events booked. I was also responsible in taking care of all groups with group reservations and took part in all Revenue Management meetings in maximizing group rooms on a daily basis.

Executed Daily events that were booked by the Sales and Catering Team. Over saw a team of 30 Wait staff and 10 Housemen. Worked closely with Scheduling and team members. Our banquet department was very well know by our guests for outstanding service and execution
