With over 26 years of Media and Communications, Radio Broadcasting, Podcasting, and Content Development for businesses and non-profits ... I’ve been very blessed to use my voice on 16 different radio stations, two television stations, my own award-winning and highly rated morning show, and several podcast series. My recent 13-year Morning Show was consistently in the Top 2 of the Northern Virginia market - and consistently in the Top 20 of the Washington, D.C. market. For 8 of those years, I led the Radiothon Fundraising Campaign for Children's National in Washington, D.C. alongside Children's Miracle Network to raise a million dollars. During that time I also led media-based fundraising and public relations for the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, The Fairy Godmother Project, The Dr. Yum Project, Cooking Autism, and The Hub of Hope.I have crafted methods for analyzing what makes listeners on radio and podcasts, viewers on television,and readers in print/website/social media jump (click a post, watch a video, share the message, read anarticle, show up virtually or in-person for an event, and DONATE in order to join and support the mission at hand)!I love audio media - including long-form audio story-telling, and over the years, I have grown to understand the impeccable and undeniably strong relationships between local media, local businesses, and the community they serve. I have developed a tremendous career by learning and relearning these relationships – determined to decipher what they need to survive and to thrive in this ever-changing industry.When my partner and I formed Flow Wellness and Media, we had several long-term goals in mind – including offering local business owners the chance to develop their own podcast within the confines of their busy schedule and limited budgets. Building our own mobile studio that we can take anywhere has allowed us to reach an even wider span of clients, as we strive to help business owners tell their story in an easy, time-friendly manner. We’ve partnered with many local business owners and assisted in recording, hosting, editing, and producing their very own podcast series. To say we are very proud of the podcasts that we have helped to launch these past two years would be an understatement, and are confident we can grow this arm of our business in any community. Recently, in the last year, I have also expanded my expertise to Savannah, Georgia in real estate marketing, media, and a highly successful podcast called, "Savannah Speaks"!
