• Assumes full responsibility for directing, planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating all administrative, financial, educational and managerial activities of the Medical Staff Office and the Medical Staff.
• Provide support to the Chief of Staff, the Medical Executive Committee, as well as departmental chairpersons and Medical Staff officers in all functions and areas of their responsibilities.
• Maintains and evaluates Bylaws, Rules and Regulation and Policies of the Medical Staff Office.
• Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and JCAHO standards.
• Coordinate, prepare agendas and maintains records for Medical Executive and departmental committees.
• Manage the process of primary source verification and physician profiling for all application and re-appointments to the medical staff in accordance with the bylaws, rules/regulations, national standards and regulatory.
