Work as a automotive product development scientist in Crystalline Polymers R&D. Primary to my role is managing development projects with cross-functional global teams to develop discontinuous improvements in semi-crystalline polymers such as PPA, PPS, PArA, LCPs, and HPPAs. My traditional organic chemistry background provides me with the unique ability to understand, from a fundamental level, how polymer structure, additive addition, and processing parameters all work together to provide new functional materials. I spend part of my time scouting new polymers and additives and have a special interest in sustainable materials.I work directly with our customers to educate them on our extensive crystalline polymers product portfolio. I host global seminars for OEMs and Tiers to educate their engineers, materials specialist, and non-technical buyers about our product lines.

New Platforms is an R&D group within Solvay focused on long-term developments and dedicated to the critical understanding of current products and the development of new products and processes. I worked as an R&D Scientist focused on sustainable chemistries.
