The power of reading led me to writing and drove me through a fascinating journey to where I am today. My love for books started at a very young age, from my first visit to the neighbourhood library. The library was a quiet space. Later in my teens, I worked at the main library, the first to be computerized in Canada. The library was inspiring to see everything I could learn. It was extremely humbling. It helped me see how little I knew, and it helped me see that even if I spent my whole life just reading, I would still only know a fraction of knowledge out there. I am a bibliophile. I love books. If you love to read as much as I do, walking into a bookstore feels exactly like walking into a candy store as a kid. The shelves are lined with the wisdom of humanity, insights that each author has spent years refining. It's all right there at your fingertips, condensed into a format that you can curl up with. A book can change your life. So many authors have changed my life. I am from Vancouver, Canada and have spent the last 15 years in Europe, mostly in Italy. My first book, IN GOLD WE TRUST has led me into the Mining Sector in Canada. I spent time reading, writing and discovering new ideas and raising my vibration substantially. I became aware of the truth within this existence both spiritual and physical. My story can be found in a collaborated Amazon Best Seller: WHEN I RISE, I THRIVEMy community project: READ TO LEAD TO SUCCEED aims to create a culture of reading, build community, and spark creativity by fostering miniature lending libraries for First Nations in rural, remote and northern areas in British Columbia. Books that are included in the miniature libraries are DIY, self-help and children books. Miniature lending libraries are leading the communal book revolution, bringing reading material to the masses at a level that far exceeds their size. READ a book. RETURN a book. REPEAT. I am an avid lover of nature. I feel completely enraptured in the company of rivers and rocks, wildflowers and, especially trees in the forest. I am proud to be a supporter of planting trees and keeping our world clean. Recently, I have been learning about indigenous plants while volunteering to plant a garden. Hemp can save our world.I am a CCVU member and support those who have been affected by cyberbullying.
