First and Foremost, I love science and I love the chaotic mess that is the human brain. Every day, I push myself to have an objective perspective of the world. And yet, what I think I've learned most recently is that each and every experience, every personal connection, shapes the way I view the world-- and this is how it should be. I am A LOT. TOO MUCH. I don't walk on eggshells. I jump in, body and soul, without looking back. And I splatter paint EVERYWHERE (side note: why I am jumping into a pool of paint, I haven't a clue. Just sounds way more fun than a pool of water, you know?). I have lots of energy and I love for energy to be returned back to me.I am a provider, protector, leader, and force of nature. I am more or less invincible within the boundaries of human limitations. A FIERCE Mama to my darling Kenna Faye.I work hard. I forgive hard. I put in maximum effort and often exceed expectations. I find intense humor in mundane things. I feel deeply. I make mistakes, I apologize openly, and then I move forward.I will be too much for some people, but I was not made to be less. Those people? They just aren't my people, my tribe. AND THAT'S OKAY.All of my pursuits have a general theme in common; They challenge many aspects of my intellect such as creativity, organization, problem solving. I love to push boundaries and find solutions that are in the best interest of all parties involved.This is how I sum up my job:I am a skilled regulatory professional with substantial experience in regulatory strategy, policy, and medical communications. I seek out challenging opportunities and am not readily swayed by panic or overwhelming circumstances. I gravitate to other professionals with high standards-- those who take educated, calculated risk and want to grow both personally and professionally. I love the grind, and I have a never ending thirst to advance scientific innovation and share that light with the world.I am obsessed with the idea of using regulatory strategy to solve practical problems. The challenge of communicating in a way that persuades and convinces regulatory agencies always requires optimization, and I am always learning from others-- mentors, friends, industry influencers, even my kiddo. I believe it is powerful to connect with people over the things that make us human-- exposed and imperfect.
