- Organized a service event for multiple organizations to collaborate on. (Mecklenburg Sherrifs, BlackBusinessofCharlotte, CherryCommunityOrganizations, and BlackFoodTruckFriday) - Facilitated volunteers for marketing, volunteers for the beautification event, food trucks, and community speakers.- Organized and developed the beautification details and assisted in hosting the service event- Garnished donations, partnerships, and sponsorships for the Cherry Community Organizations causes and the partnering organizations.

-Facilitated the communication between manufacturing team and engineering team-Created new innovative methods that saved time on each quality check by itemizing the checklist-Edited and improved existing methods on site clean up and shift changeover procedures-Cleaned up office area and helped create traffic flow within office to manufacturing floor. This sent manufacturing members in a loop, passing the same staff they would need to communicate with to ensure everything was to tolerance before signing the final quality check. -Operations Management & Leadership Program member; attended many leadership and training sessions, visited and was educated on multiple sites within GE Power & Water/ Oil & Gas

As a manufacturing engineer (M.E.) for G.E.'s Gas Turbine site in Greenville, South Carolina, I am partly responsible for two types of machines. The Horizontal Milling Machinining (H.M.C.) and the Electric Discharge Machining (E.D.M.). I work closely with the full-time M.E.'s to manage the processes that are required to produce high quality material at an efficient rate. From maintaining a tolerances of as little as 3 thousandths of an inch, to working with the quality engineer on updating the methods of how we create certain features in our parts. Also as an M.E. one must be able to present on projects to the site manager and be very efficient and prompt in completing those projects. My first specific project was preventative fixture maintenance which was one that I started from scratch. I created a method on how to prevent defects and scrap parts that saved my cell approximately $88k a year alone. I identified the problem that dowel pins would break and our clamping method to hold the parts in place was effective, but operators would over torque parts and strip the nuts. I developed a plan to replace these wear items, where, how, and when the operators would need to get them, and put multiple controls in place to sustain my projects impact.
