At the University of Tennessee, I was making the utmost efforts to fulfill my passion for sustainability, by taking various studios and electives related to sustainable design. I received a degree in Master of Architecture with a concentration in Sustainable Design, August 2018. I believe buildings should not be just concrete structures meant for dwelling. We, as architects, have a responsibility toward people and the environment alike, and what brings these two together is the experience of a space. I would like to design buildings that are not only sustainable but are also experiential.I worked at the Fablab, a rapid prototyping fabrication lab, to help students with digital fabrication machinery. Working there has helped me build quick thinking, assertiveness, and a willingness to ask questions. I plan to become a LEED professional and I wish to embark on a pathway to licensure as I graduate. I am confident that I have the personality, commitment, determination, and experience to make a meaningful and valuable contribution to any firm.
