During your internship at CA Alok Mishra & Company, I basically responsible for managing various accounting and auditing tasks. My key responsibilities include:1. Handling Books of Accounts : I manage the books of accounts for 5 to 6 companies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date entries, particularly for invoices and payments. 2. Client Interaction: I handle client queries related to bill payments, ensuring that invoices are processed correctly and payments are made on time.3. Factory Audits: I conduct factory audits, where you: - Prepare detailed audit sheets. - Create corrective action plans for any issues found during the audit. - Develop compliance-related questions in Google Forms. - Visit factories to gather feedback and review compliance.4. Statutory Tax Audits: As part of statutory tax audits, I - Review bill postings on Tally and ensure that tax-related entries such as TDS are accurate. - Prepare audit reports in line with Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961. - Identify and correct any errors in tax entries and amounts. - Reconcile tax amounts with the recorded entries to ensure compliance.5. GST Return Filing: I manage the monthly filing of GST returns for 100 to 150 clients, which includes: - Filing GST-1A returns. - Reconciling client details and return amounts using Saral Pro software. In addition to these core tasks, I actively participate in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and improving the overall accounting processes of the firms you manage.
